Sardinia, a unique experience

Guided tour of the archaeological monuments of Arzachena

An interesting half-day excursion in Arzachena, in the northeast of Sardinia. During the tour in an area rich in archaeological excavations you will go back in time and learn more about the prehistory of Sardinia. You visit two beautiful monuments in the archaeological park of Arzachena and you take a look at the Labenur museum, rich in finds and testimonies from the past.

You will also get to know the nuraghe complex of Capichera that houses the Nuraghe La Prisgona. This Nuraghe, a typical stone building, is located on the top of the hill. An extensive settlement can be admired around it.

In the same park is also the giant tomb "Tomba di giganti di Coddu 'Ecchju", also called the "Tomba dei Giganti di Coddu Vecchiu". This burial chamber with space for several graves dates from the Bronze Age. Finally, a visit is made to the monumental rock in the shape of a mushroom; "Roccia monumental il Fungo".
