Sardinia, a unique experience

Would you like to book a ferry to Sardinia?

If you like to drive to Sardinia by car, you can book several ferries (both during the day and at night) to and from various harbours. Ferries depart from Genua, Civitavecchia and Livorno to Olbia, Porto Torres, Golfo Aranci and Cagliari. Book your ferry crossing to Sardinia with Sardinia4all.

The shortest route to Sardinia is from Livorno to Olbia / Golfo Aranci, in summer also from Piombino to Olbia or Golfo Aranci. During the day you can cross with a fast ferry. At night the ferry is much slower. If you prefer a night ferry, we recommend that you also book a cabin. Another option is a crossing from Genoa to Sardinia. Ferries leave from here to Porto Torres (northwest Sardinia) and Olbia (northeast). If you prefer to cross from France, a crossing from Nice or Toulon to Porto Torres is a great option. There are several ferry companies on all routes such as MOBY Lines and Tirrenia and Corsica Sardinia Ferries .

If you are traveling to Sardinia with your own car, you must state the height, width and length of the vehicle before booking the crossing. Every ferry company has its own rules. In addition, campers, delivery vans and vans are considered special vehicles, even if the dimensions are almost the same as a car.

We recommend that you book the ferry tickets in advance. If you travel without tickets you will have to “sit down” in a long queue on the spot and last minute tickets are often anything but cheaper. In addition, there is a chance, especially in high season, that the ferry is fully booked.

Motorcyclists should definitely reserve a place on board in advance, as there are only a limited number of places reserved for motorcycles. Especially in the months of May / June and September / October, motorcycle holidays in Sardinia are very popular.

You cannot camp in your own camper on board on any crossing to Sardinia. However, special rates have been reserved for campers. We will of course be happy to inform you about the rates and options.
