Porto Istana

The spectacular beach of Porto Istana located on the headland Capo Ceraso with its powdery soft sand is one of the most popular beaches south of Olbia. Not without reason: the shallow water is fantastic for splashing, swimming and walking, so it is lively here at least in August. If you're looking for a deserted place, all you have to do is walk south along the beach. But it gets especially quiet when you dare to walk on the gravel roads on the Ceraso peninsula. Here several dead ends lead to fantastic bays by the sea. A signposted path leads to the "Stazione di Vedetta", an old viewpoint with fantastic views! Porto Istana belongs to the municipality of Olbia, the nearest town with shops and restaurants is Murta Maria.
