Short Costa Smeralda circuit on the Grande Pevero

The large Pevero beach is one of the most beautiful bays on the "Costa", as insiders the Emerald Coast name the island. The incredibly clear, turquoise sea not only attracts countless yachts and luxury sailing ships, but of course also beach lovers from all over the world.
But the Grande Pevero not only offers a beach feeling , but also one of the most beautiful short Costa Smeralda hikes that starts here and especially suitable for the low season from October to May. Follow the signs for Piccolo Pevero and park . From here, a path to the east leads past a villa settlement.
The rest of the way leads exactly over the beach, which on the opposite side of the bay merges into bright white sand dunes, into which ancient juniper and gorse bushes grow. A hardly visible, if not signposted path through the dunes leads uphill. On the way there is a short detour towards "Madonna dello Speronello". A path leads to the small Madonna sanctuary to the left, to the right there is a small bay in which a secluded beach bar with its own landing stage and sun loungers is set up in the summer months. Back on the main path, it goes over a mountain top on rough dirt roads to Romazzino, the famous luxury hotel on the Costa Smeralda .
Arrived at the driveway of the hotel after a few hundred meters you turn right at a barrier back over a helipad towards the starting point. Allow around two hours for the tour without swimming stops and a snack break.
