The bathing coves of Cala Liberotto, also known as Spiaggia degli Svizzeri (Swiss Beach), are sheltered by pinkish-hued granite cliffs and lie about 12 kilometers north of Orosei, nestled beautifully into the coastline. The coastline here not only boasts a roughly 500-meter-long, light gray, fine sandy beach in the largest bay, but also small coves and mini-bays like Porto Corallo and Sas Linnas Siccas, as well as Spiaggia Mattanosa, separated by gentle granite rocks. What they all have in common is the clean, light blue, crystal-clear water. In the warm light of the evening sun, the rocks rising from the water shimmer as if dipped in gold. Ideal for families with children, as the beaches slope gently into the water. A bar, showers, and rentals of sun loungers, parasols, and pedal boats are available directly on the beach.
