The accommodation
Nestled in the pine forest of Pinus Village and directly by the sea, the small‑scale apartment complex Abba e Chelu is located just 42 kilometers from Cagliari. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxing beach holiday thanks to its position only 200 meters from a long white sandy beach, perfectly suited for small children as well. In addition to wonderful moments by the sea, guests of Abba e Chelu can also enjoy the swimming pool, situated next to the restaurant and bar in the park (open during the high season).
The apartments
26 apartments with outdoor space make up the Residence Abba e Chelu and are arranged around the pool or overlooking the pine forest of Pinus Village. Each apartment is functionally furnished, designed in a warm Sardinian style, and features outdoor seating and air conditioning.

The location
The surroundings of Abba e Chelu offer a wide range of leisure and excursion opportunities. At a distance of approximately 10 km lies the charming town of Pula, a lively and well-kept destination that comes to life especially during the summer months. Numerous restaurants, bars, and gelaterias create a pleasant atmosphere, while many shops remain open until late in the evening. Musical events and performances are regularly held on the central »piazza«.
Guests interested in history and culture can explore the nearby archaeological ruins of Nora as well as the Archaeological Museum in Pula. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the gently rolling 27-hole golf course of »Is Molas«, one of the most renowned courses on the island.
In addition to the long sandy beach of Santa Margherita di Pula, a visit to nearby Chia is highly recommended, famous for its spectacular beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Santa Margherita di Pula
The beautiful coastline at ca. 35 kilometres from Cagliari, stretching from Nora beyond Pula, is known as Santa Margherita di Pula. The corresponding village of Pula is a popular holiday resort during the summer months. It houses numerous restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours and the shops are often opened until midnight. Various activities are organised regularly at the central “piazza”. The broad sandy beaches along the coast of Santa Margherita di Pula are alternated with hotels, holiday homes and resorts.
Discover the southern province of Cagliari
The province of Cagliari and its eponymous capital are located in south-west Sardinia. The daily ferries from Napels and Civitavecchia and large cruise liners sailing the Mediterranean moor in Cagliari’s marina, which is situated right in front of the city centre, along the Via Roma. The city's own sandy beach Poetto (pronunciation: po-etto), stretching out for 8 kilometres, is very popular among the locals from April/May through the beginning of October. Located a few kilometres from the centre of Sardinia's capital, Cagliari-Elmas International Airport connects the capital to the main land.
