About the accommodation
Luna e Limoni is not an agriturismo, but it does enjoy a rural setting. This small property occupies a 16-hectare estate in Muravera, in the Sarrabus region of south-east Sardinia. The guest accommodation is spread across three cottages in a large orange grove. The garden has a saltwater swimming pool, a shared barbecue and several seating areas where you can enjoy meals you have prepared yourself.
Costa Rei, part of the municipality of Muravera, is a fifteen-minute drive away. This stretch of coast offers plenty of beautiful bays and beaches, including Piscina Rei and the beach beside Scoglio di Peppino. As well as swimming and snorkelling in clear waters, you can head inland for walks in the Sette Fratelli mountains.

The rooms and apartments at Luna & Limoni are spread across three cottages on the grounds. All have air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The double rooms Verdello and Clementina have no kitchen and occupy the cottage closest to the pool. Bergamotto and Cedro sit side by side in another cottage. Each has a double bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen on the enclosed veranda. At 50 m², Melangelo is the largest cottage. This detached property has its own open veranda, a double bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and a spacious kitchen.

Muravera
The traditional Sardinian village Muravera is located on the east coast of the island near the estuary of the Flumendosa river. Situated in a hilly landscape surrounded by extensive lagoons housing pink flamingos and many other bird species, the village has a modern, touristic infrastructure, but without the enormous resorts and hotels.
It’s known for its fruit trees, especially for the high quality citrus fruit orchards.
The Citrus Festival in April attracts many tourists. Other culinary local delights are Muravera’s bread, ravioli, cheese, wine and olive oil.
We recommend visiting the San Nicola Church and its 15th-century chapels.

The daily ferries from Napels and Civitavecchia and large cruise liners sailing the Mediterranean moor in Cagliari’s marina, which is situated right in front of the city centre, along the Via Roma.
