About the accommodation

The peaceful agriturismo Turudhis is located in the beautiful countryside near Tortoli, at the foot of a hill dominated by the majestic nuraghe Turuddis. The agriturismo sells its own products such as olive oil, honey, wine and mirto. In short, a lovely accommodation without Wi-Fi, where you will forget the daily grind, enjoying the tranquil Italian "domani domani" motto.

The agriturismo offers 7 basic yet comfortable rooms provided with air-conditioning and a private bathroom with shower. The superior room has a living room. The family rooms consist of 2 bedrooms. Breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room or on the terrace in front of your room.

The sandy Cea Beach is just 3 kilometres from the accommodation. The villages of Tortoli and Arbatax are within easy reach as well (ca. 5-10 kilometres). The Ogliastra area is known for the numerous hiking and cycling trails. We highly recommend visiting the archaeological sites of Sa Perda Longa and nuraghe Turuddis.

Agriturismo Turudhis

Tortoli is the capital of the province of Ogliastra. The city itself isn’t that special, but its scenic beauty is. In the area there’s a vast swamp where many migratory birds reside during the winter months and the numerous beautiful beaches in the area are definitely worth a visit.

Discover the province of Ogliastra in east Sardinia

In east Sardinia Ogliastra, a province established in 2001 when the number of Sardinian provinces was doubled, stretches from the peaks of the Gennargentu mountain range to the Tyrrhenian sea. Its landscape is varied; the coastline is known for the impressive red cliffs and hidden bays while the inland consists of high rugged mountains. The area is therefore popular among both beach lovers and active travellers alike.
Driving upwards via Baunei, you’ll arrive at the high plateau Altopiano di Golgo, where you can explore the spectacular hiking trails. With a bit of luck you get to spot donkeys, horses, cows, wild boars and goats along the way. If a bit of climbing doesn’t scare you, we highly recommend descending to the “pearl of Baunei”; the stunning bay of Cala Goloritzè.
